Floyd Co. Democrats to host Election returns event

Party will meet at the Elks Lodge #270

NEW ALBANY, April 27, 2026 – The Floyd County Democratic Party has announced that Democratic candidates and supporters will gather for Primary Election Returns at the Elks Lodge #270 on Tuesday, May 5th. Here is the information:

Primary Election Returns – May 5, 2026
6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Elks Lodge #270

New Albany, Indiana

Party officials will provide updates on the cumulative results as reported by the Floyd County Clerk’s Office and media outlets. Food and drinks will also be available from the Elks Lodge. The Primary Election Return event is open to the public.

This year’s Primary Election features contested races for 9th District Congress, and State Representative in Districts 70 and 72. Local uncontested county races on the ballot include Commissioner, Council, Auditor, Township Trustee and Township Board.
