Floyd Co. Democrats to host Election returns event

Party will meet at the New Albany Elks Lodge #270!

NEW ALBANY, October 30, 2019 – The Floyd County Democratic Party has announced that Democratic candidates and supporters will gather for Municipal Election Returns at the New Albany Elks Lodge #270. Food and drinks will also be available for purchase. Here is the information:

Party officials will provide updates on the cumulative results as reported by the Floyd County Clerk’s Office and media outlets.

“Democrats are confident about this municipal election cycle,” noted Party Chair Adam Dickey. “Our candidates continue to work hard to earn the votes of their fellow citizens and have an excellent record of results for our cities and towns.”

This year’s Primary Election features contested races for New Albany Mayor, New Albany City Council, Georgetown Town Council and Greenville Town Council.

“We encourage all our party members to cast their ballots in this important election and join us Tuesday night for Election Returns.”
